Six Arab states in the Gulf region led by Saudi Arabia have agreed to form a joint military command in order to achieve better strategic and operational coordination. The landmark agreement was reached on Dec.11 in Kuwait when member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, met to discuss Iran’s recent moves and the gradually softening stance of the West toward the military regime in Teheran.
